Our story.

Most fitness spaces just don’t work for real people.

They’re built around cookie-cutter programs, unrealistic body goals, and a “no pain, no gain” mentality. They don’t ask what your body needs. They expect you to fit their mold.

After years in the industry, Alex and Bronwen saw people pushed too hard, get injured, burned out, or gave up entirely. They were left thinking something was wrong with them when really, something was wrong with the system.

That’s why we started Out of the Common.

​

We built a space that adapts to each person, not the other way around. A place where strength doesn’t mean punishment. It means being able to move freely, play with your kids, recover from injury, carry your shopping, or feel good in your body again.

We meet you where you are and help you build the kind of strength that lasts through all phases of life.
